Political Interference in the practice of medicine, science and conscience

A personal story...

When I came to recognize the value of Ivermectin for prevention and treatment of covid-19 I asked my doctor about it. His response was, "sorry I can't prescribe that." I asked why. He said, my practice would be jeopardized. I went to another licensed doctor, a personal friend practicing both traditional and non-traditional medicine who responded the same way.

My brother ordered the product online (www.ziverdokit.store). When it arrived, he showed the product to his doctor for an opinion. His doctor said it was exactly what he would give patients if he was allowed. He asked my brother for the web site so he could direct other patients there. We ordered the product soon after. However by then the door was closed. We were told by a government representative that it would not be delivered.

Some time later a licensed physician wrote me a prescription. My pharmacist overruled my doctor and refused to fill the order.

The doctor is no longer free to make the best decisions he or she can on the basis of science and the doctor-patient relationship now had a third party.

Political control of medicine

Every political entity now has a public health officer - a political role held by a medical person appointed, not elected, by the ruling government. This person does not give advice, he or she gives orders. Political coercion of doctors

A local example...Dr. Charles Hoffe became concerned when a disproportionate portion of those he vaccinated experienced adverse effects. He reported the adverse effects to the government but the records where lost. He then asked his provincial public health officer, Dr. Henry, for her "attention to this critically urgent public health matter" (letter). Political coercion of party members

The ruling party in Ontario demanded in August 2021 that duly elected Members of Legislature be vaccinated or purged from the party. What is the significance of this?

It means this party, while in power, will be populated exclusively by those willing to put politics above the private doctor-patient relationship and the free exercise of scientific inquiry. This, in turn, means, the party will not hesitate to require the same of the populace they rule.
